平成23年度から27年度まで文部科学省私立大学戦略的研究基盤形成支援事業 「安定同位体医学応用研究基盤拠点(SI医学応用研究基盤拠点)の形成」(研究代表者:松藤千弥)を推進いたしました。本研究成果の中から、外科学講座、臨床検査医学講座、消化器肝臓内科で開発した安定同位体13C呼気試験が臨床で有用なことが示され、実用化段階に進んでいます。また、自然科学教室では、医学研究のためのSI標識化合物を合成する基盤も整備され、総合医科学研究センター・基盤研究施設には質量分析装置等の機器も設置され、稼働しています。こうした研究基盤をもとに、先端医学推進拠点群に「安定同位体医学応用研究センター」を設置し、1) 安定同位体を用いた臨床病態評価法の実用化、2) 臨床応用のための臨床研究支援、3) SI医学応用に関わる臨床と基礎研究者の育成を推進します。

教育
