2006年度 (平成18年度) 購読については5〜10%の値上がりが見込まれたため、2005年 (平成17年) 1月から実施している利用調査や他館の所蔵状況、図書館主催で3月と9月に開催したシンポジウム「図書館と電子ジャーナル」での意見交換、学内各講座・研究施設へのアンケート調査結果などをもとに、図書館委員会で検討を重ねた結果、コア雑誌以外で、電子ジャーナルが利用できる73誌のプリント版の外国雑誌の購読を中止することになりました。
