学外共同研究「筋生理の集い」研究集会は昭和27年 （1952年） より東京慈恵会医科大学生理学教室 （当時） の主催で開催されています。
平成18年 （2006年） 12月9日の研究集会では、平成18年7月17日逝去された江橋節郎先生追悼記念講演会が開かれ、その内容が東京慈恵会医科大学雑誌に掲載されました。
